How we teach it
Most children stall not because they cannot write, but because they have nothing planned. We spend as much time on thinking as on writing: gathering ideas, choosing an order, and only then drafting. Editing is taught as a separate skill, so a first draft is allowed to be imperfect.
We assess every child before we place them, so they start in the right place.
