How we teach it
Sounds come before letters. We start with what a child can already hear, then attach a written shape to it. Short daily sessions use picture cards, actions and games, so a three-year-old stays with us for the whole class. Blending starts only once single sounds are secure.
We assess every child before we place them, so they start in the right place.

Every child progresses at their own pace. We track it and tell you honestly how it is going.
